BA tier points calculator
The British Airways Club went revenue-based in April 2025 — tier points come from what you spend, not how far you fly. Enter the eligible fare and your segments to see what a booking earns and where it lands you on the tier ladder.
Enter the eligible fare from your booking confirmation — base fare plus carrier-imposed surcharges — to estimate tier points.
Tier points = £1 of eligible spend × 1 (base fare plus carrier-imposed surcharges — government taxes don't count) + £1 of paid add-ons × 2 (seat selection, bags; from April 2026) + a fixed per-segment cabin bonus on paid BA-marketed flights. That bonus scales with fare flexibility, so the total is a min–max range rather than a single number that pretends precision. Award tickets and Basic fares earn no segment bonus. The collection year runs 1 April to 31 March, and only Gold Guest List carries a minimum from BA-marketed flights (52,000 of its 65,000; renewal 40,000 with a 32,000 minimum). GBP only, on purpose — currency conversion invites silent FX error, so enter the GBP figures from your booking confirmation.
