Points to dollars calculator
Pick a bank currency and enter your balance to see what it's worth in dollars. We show two figures separately — typical (median achievable) and up to (optimized transfers) — because the sources behind them differ by methodology, not by noise. And if you book through the Chase portal instead of transferring, every card pays a flat 1.0¢ per point since June 2025.
Enter your balance to see its dollar value. The rate below is a property of the program — it applies whether you've typed a balance or not.

Portal redemptions pay a flat 1.0¢ on every card since June 2025 (the old 1.25/1.5¢ Sapphire rates are gone). The upside comes from transfers — Hyatt above all.
Every rate we track
Typical is the median-achievable lane; up to assumes optimized transfers. The two come from different methodologies, so we never average them.

Dollar value = balance × cents per point ÷ 100. Rates are editorial estimates in two lanes: typical is the median-achievable lane (the Frequent Miler / NerdWallet methodology) and max is the optimized-transfer lane (the TPG / Upgraded Points methodology). We never average the lanes — a balance is worth the typical figure unless you actually do the optimizing.
